That allowance shrinks by 1% a day, and what you earn takes its place. What comes free is spent without thinking. What you earned is spent on purpose.

You trace the maze.

One fingertip, never lifted. Touch a wall, lift your finger or cross your own trail and you are back outside. Nothing is deducted. The lower your balance, the harder the maze.

Five, ten or twenty-five minutes, priced in credits. Only what you can afford is offered. Under 300 credits, the gate stays shut.

When can I get Deralba?

Does Deralba block my apps?

Not while you have credits. The gate slows the moment down and lets you through once you've waited, traced the maze and chosen a time. When your balance falls under 300 credits the gate stays shut. You open it again by earning, with a focus session or a finished task, or when your next morning allowance arrives.

Which apps can I guard?

Any app you can open from your home screen. Most people start with the ones they open without thinking: social feeds, short videos, the endless scroll.

What happens if I touch a wall in the maze?

You are back outside the app. Nothing is deducted and no rest period starts. Open the app again and a new maze is waiting.

Why does my allowance get smaller every day?

Because credits that arrive for free are easy to spend without thinking, and credits you earned are spent on purpose. The allowance shrinks 1% a day so that what you earn gradually takes its place. After ten weeks half of it is left. After a year, about a fortieth.

Why does Deralba need Accessibility access?

To notice when an app you chose to guard comes to the front, and to draw the gate over it. Deralba does not read what is on your screen. It only sees which app a window belongs to, and that never leaves your phone.

Do I need an account?

Yes, to subscribe: an email address and a password. Our server keeps the account, the phones signed in to it and your subscription status. Your credits, tasks and history are never sent. The details are in the privacy policy.

How much does it cost?

The yearly plan starts with a free 14-day trial, then $59.99 a year. Monthly is $9.99 a month, without a trial. Both plans include everything.

Can I cancel during the trial?

Yes. Cancel in Google Play or the App Store before your 14 days are up, and you won't be charged.
